WMC Mumbai Province is a part of a global organisation World Malayalee Councils initiated by well meaning Malayalees from the world over.

WMC Mumbai Province was inaugurated on April 25, 2009. WMC Mumbai is a registered under Society Act 180 (MH Mumbai 1313 / 2010GBBS.D) and the charitable trust act 1950 of Maharashtra state (F40099 Mumbai).
WMC Mumbai province aims at initiating various social welfare activities like providing medical and social assistance to the poor and the weaker sections of the society.
Apart from projects benefiting health, WMC Mumbai also works on matters relating to environment and education
